Increased Efficiency with High-Volume, Low-Cost Sawmill Line Equipment

JIERUI Industrial Sawmilling Equipment is designed for maximum efficiency, simple operation, and low overall investment. Our high-yield systems eliminate the need for log sorting or debarking, offering a streamlined and space-efficient production process ideal for businesses focused on cost control and output.

Even in limited spaces and with minimal energy requirements, JIERUI’s sawmill lines consistently deliver high-performance results. Backed by a global team of experts in design, manufacturing, and installation, we help clients around the world build custom sawmilling solutions that meet their volume and budget goals.

Advantages of the JIERUI Industrial Sawmill Line

1. Handles Larger Logs – Up to 45 cm Diameter

While most competitors are limited to processing logs up to 35 cm, JIERUI equipment can handle diameters up to 45 cm. This increases wood output per log and lowers raw material cost per cubic centimeter—allowing sawmill operators to improve profit margins and reduce overall production costs.

2. No Need for Log Sorting

The system is designed to process logs ranging from 15 cm to 45 cm in diameter—without requiring any pre-sorting. This eliminates the need for sorting equipment, reduces personnel and maintenance costs, and saves valuable production floor space.

3. Process Logs with Bark – Save on Labor and Equipment

Our production lines can handle barked logs, eliminating the need for debarking machinery. This directly reduces:

  • Labor costs

  • Energy consumption

  • Overall equipment investment

In detail, why choose us

Sawmill Cutting Line

Saw blade roller guide device,Band saw blade cooling system

The roller guiding device is adopted to keep the saw blade stable during the cutting process, reduce vibration and improve the cutting quality. Continuous cooling reduces friction and maintains sharpness, even under heavy workloads.

Sawmill Cutting Line

Log Press Wheel

The Log Press Wheel is a crucial component in JIERUI sawmill systems, designed to stabilize and secure the log during sawing. By applying consistent downward pressure, the press wheel ensures that logs remain firmly positioned on the conveyor or saw bed, enhancing cutting precision, safety, and operational efficiency.

Sawmill Cutting Line

Automatic Log Feeding System

The Automatic Log Feeding System is an essential component of JIERUI’s high-efficiency sawmill lines. Designed to streamline the log handling process, it delivers logs smoothly and consistently to the sawing area, minimizing manual labor and optimizing throughput.

Sawmill Cutting Line

Bark Separator

The Bark Separator is a specialized unit used in sawmill lines to efficiently remove bark fragments and debris from processed logs or wood chips.

Sawmill Cutting Line

Log loading rack

The Log Loading Rack is an essential component in automated sawmill systems, designed to organize and feed raw logs into the production line efficiently and safely. By staging logs before processing, it ensures a smooth, continuous workflow and significantly reduces the need for manual handling.

Workflow

Sawmill Line Workflow: Logs

An efficient sawmill line is designed to transform raw logs into high-quality lumber through a series of optimized, mechanized processes. Below is a typical workflow used in industrial-scale sawmilling operations:

1. Debarking

Purpose:
To remove the outer bark from logs, ensuring cleaner processing and protecting saw blades from excessive wear due to bark and embedded debris.

Process:
Logs are fed into a debarking machine—typically equipped with rotating rollers, knives, or mechanical scrapers. The bark is stripped away as the log rotates, and the cleaned log exits, ready for sawing.

2. Primary Sawing

Purpose:
To cut debarked logs into rough boards or billets, initiating the conversion of raw timber into usable lumber.

Process:
Logs are conveyed into a primary sawmill—commonly a band saw, circular saw, or frame saw. The log is cut longitudinally according to a preset cutting pattern based on log size and desired output.

3. Re-Sawing

Purpose:
To refine the rough-sawn boards by reducing thickness or adjusting dimensions, producing boards that meet precise size requirements.

Process:
Boards from the primary sawing stage are fed into a re-sawing machine (horizontal or vertical band re-saw). These machines make parallel cuts to divide boards into thinner sections or customized dimensions.

4. Edging

Purpose:
To trim irregular, wane-covered, or rough edges from boards, producing clean, uniform widths and improving lumber appearance and usability.

Process:
Boards pass through an edger, which uses multiple blades to cut off unwanted edges and shape the board to specified widths. Edging waste (slabs) is collected for fuel, chipping, or other by-products.
